My love is real.

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. NLT

The best love you can possibly experience on earth is but a faint shadow of the real love that I demonstrated when I sent My beloved Son to lay down His life for you. For there was no greater expression of love that I could possibly demonstrate than when Jesus sacrificed His own life for yours.

So if you ever feel disillusioned about the love you have experienced on a horizontal plane, and you long for a love that will never let you down, look no further than the cross dear child. For it is the once and for all token of My undying love for you.

And remember, My beloved Son died for you, when you were powerless to save yourself. He sacrificed His life for you, when you were steeped in sin. And He offered up His beautiful innocence and took upon Himself the brokenness of the entire world, in order for you to be holy and blameless in My sight. There is no greater love than this. And it is this real love that is yours in Christ.. forever!
