My dear child, I want to remind you today of how faithful I am to keep My covenant of love with you. And it is in My steadfast faithfulness, that My righteousness is beautifully displayed. For every act of kindness that I do on your behalf is good, right and just and as it should be.

Some people think being righteous is about rule following and an external self-imposed pressure to perform to gain My approval. But in reality, there is no amount of striving that could ever secure the acceptance and right standing that I have already given you in My beloved Son.

For you are completely righteous in Christ just as He is righteous. You are completely accepted and justified in My sight, just as Jesus is. And you are completely free from the exhausting hamster wheel of performance that would try and convince you that you are not loved the way you are. So I invite you today little one, to enjoy all of the benefits of your right standing with Me and enter into My rest today.
