My love always initiates.

1 John 4:19
We love each other because he loved us first. (NLT)

I am the great initiator! And it is in My nature to continually pour out My love to you ...first. All I want you to do is to simply respond to My love by loving Me back with the same love that I am loving you with. And when you begin to do that, you will see the fulfillment of My Great Commandment to love your neighbor as you love yourself. It is as simple as that.

The problem with religion is that it tries to complicate that which I created to be very simple. Religion tries to initiate what it defines as love with the hope that I will be appeased. The reality is any good work you try to do that is fear based will only result in you getting more tired than you already are.

So why not take a moment and cease from all of the activity that you think I am expecting and just be still in My presence? If you just pause for a moment, My own Spirit will fill you afresh with a greater outpouring of love for today.  And when you are being filled with My eternal love, you will inevitably respond in kind by loving Me back and loving everyone around you.
