My love keeps you childlike.
Matthew 18:1-5 1 About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?” 2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. 5 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. Whether you are ten or one hundred, deep inside you, a little child still needs to be loved. I want to pour My love into this 'little you' today. When you were little, you were hurt by grownups, so the thought of returning to a childlike heart might make you afraid.
But fear not, My little lamb. It is My good pleasure to give you My entire Kingdom. For I am your true Father, and I love you with both a father's love and a mother's love. And today, I want to restore all the love you needed but didn't receive. If you are willing to change your heart and become like a little child again, you will experience My parental love in a new way. And in doing so, you will discover that true Kingdom greatness is not found in the 'big you,' but in the 'little you.' |
