In a nutshell, the sole purpose of this website is to share the life changing message that God loves you. ...And we do it on a daily basis.

How we share this message is by posting 365 daily descriptors of God's love followed by a devotional thought for the day. When you read these thoughts, you will notice that they are worded in the first person from God's perspective.

Right off the bat, I want to say that I don't want to communicate that I am trying to unequivocally speak on behalf of God Himself. As far as I am concerned, l don't hear from my Heavenly Dad any clearer than any other of His kids. But I am challenged by a verse in 1 Peter 4:11 that says if we are called to share the gospel, we should do so in faith believing that God is actually speaking through us!

Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. NLT

This is not the first time that I have been down this road. In early 1999, I created a sermon illustration called 'Father's Love Letter' which was comprised of 50 Bible passages that I paraphrased in the first person for a sermon I was sharing on the love of God.

Never in our wildest dreams would we have known that this simple sermon illustration would find its way around the world to millions of people and be translated into over 120 languages.

The next time I worked on a project where I paraphrased Scriptures in the first person was back in 2008 when we launched our 365promises.com website with daily paraphrased Bible promises. And over the years, the 365 promises message has been shared with millions of people around the world as well.

So when I asked God for yet another way to share His heart to His children, I felt I had the green light to give this a go. I hope this helps explain the background of this website and my wife and I pray more than anything that by visiting here with us, you know at a deeper level than before how much God loves you!
